Objective

• All breastfeeding clients will receive urgent attention and guidance on managing breastfeeding challenges from well-trained Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Lactation Counselors & BF Peer counselors.
• To ensure all lactation activists under BCNP & other organizations and health professional will be updated on current evidence-based practice by organizing seminars, webinars, conferences, and training workshops.
• The function of lactation activists will be uplifted by standard professional payment for home visit counseling, online consultation and clinic appointment services.
• To raise awareness on the importance of lactation activists as a support system for all breastfeeding mothers & babies, and their function will be appreciated by the community.

Mission & Vision

• To increase exclusive breastfeeding rates in Malaysia.
• To ensure that breastfeeding becomes a norm and is the standard feeding practice for all children from birth until 2 years or beyond.
• To ensure that all mothers receive urgent help & assistance to address their breastfeeding problems by engaging in home visit/ online services/ by trained lactation activists or BCNP affiliated doctors.
• Appreciate & create awareness on the presence & function of lactation activists in our community.
• Take care of the welfare of certified Lactation Counsellors or Peer counsellors by giving them allowances for their indispensable service, which would also be intrinsic motivation to continue their advocacy in successful breastfeeding.
