Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP) successfully organized the Induced Lactation & Relactation Workshop on 15 February 2026 at the BCNP Training Centre, Bandar Dato’ Onn. This one-day workshop was designed to empower healthcare professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the management of induced lactation and relactation. The program emphasized evidence-based practices to ensure safe, effective, and ethical breastfeeding support within healthcare settings. Participants gained a clear understanding of the concepts and principles of induced lactation and relactation, enhanced their counselling and communication skills, and strengthened their ability to assess maternal readiness and individual needs. The workshop also reinforced the vital role of healthcare professionals in supporting breastfeeding success and promoting the wellbeing of both mother and baby. In addition, the program provided essential insights into Islamic guidelines(fiqh) related to milk sharing and adoptive breastfeeding, ensuring that practices align with Shariah principles while safeguarding lineage and mahram relationships.

Breastfeeding Counselor Networking Program (BCNP), in collaboration with the Johor State Community Nutrition & Health Association (PPKKJ), successfully organized the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Course 2025 from 12 to 14 December 2025 at the BCNP Training Centre, Bandar Dato Onn. The three-day course was conducted with the objective of equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to serve as Breastfeeding Peer Counselors, enabling them to provide appropriate guidance and support to breastfeeding mothers. The program also aimed to enhance maternal and infant health outcomes by strengthening breastfeeding support systems within communities and healthcare facilities.All sessions were facilitated by qualified and experienced speakers, each possessing recognized credentials and extensive expertise in breastfeeding counseling and support. Participants were exposed to evidence-based knowledge, practical counseling approaches, and interactive discussions aimed at enhancing their confidence and competency as peer counselors.

The 6th BCNP Annual Conference was successfully organized on 27–28 September 2025 at Tamu Hotel & Suites, Kuala Lumpur, bringing together breastfeeding professionals and advocates from across Malaysia in a collaborative and inspiring environment. The conference aimed to raise awareness on the importance of strong and effective support systems in ensuring successful breastfeeding journeys for mothers and families. It also focused on enhancing the knowledge, competencies, and professional development of BCNP-registered counselors, while encouraging closer collaboration among healthcare professionals, breastfeeding advocates, and community support providers. Another key objective of the conference was to empower peer supporters, breastfeeding counselors, lactation consultants, and healthcare staff with updated, evidence-based knowledge and practical counseling skills, enabling them to provide more confident, consistent, and high-quality support to breastfeeding families. The two-day event featured 12 expert speakers from various disciplines who shared current insights, best practices, and real-life experiences through engaging presentations and discussions. Participants representing diverse breastfeeding support roles from all over Malaysia benefited from valuable networking opportunities and knowledge exchange. A significant highlight of the conference was the Soft Launch of the KidsNurture Apps, a digital initiative developed to support parents, caregivers, and breastfeeding professionals. The app is designed to provide accessible, reliable, and user-friendly information on breastfeeding, child nutrition, and early childhood care, complementing existing support services. The soft launch reflected BCNP’s commitment to integrating digital health solutions to strengthen community-based support systems and improve maternal and child health outcomes nationwide.

Held on 31st May 2025 at The Saddle Resort, Kuantan, the “Bicara Santai” Seminar brought together breastfeeding supporters and healthcare professionals to explore deeper issues behind exclusive breastfeeding failures. Despite lengthy counselling, many mothers still struggle — highlighting overlooked factors such as undiagnosed postpartum depression, brain fog, poor maternal understanding, and clinical challenges like tongue tie cases not receiving frenotomy. This seminar provided valuable insights on recognising psychological conditions, clinical decision-making, and how to better support mothers beyond textbook counselling. With a beach-themed setting, the event also featured performances and best-dressed awards, creating an informative yet relaxed environment for all participants.

The Parenting Course Series 4 was successfully conducted as an in-person session focusing on essential knowledge for parents, including understanding normal child growth patterns (weight, height, head circumference, BMI), identifying developmental milestones and early signs of delay, and practical tips to encourage early speech, creativity, and emotional intelligence in children. The course featured hands-on activities and real-life case discussions, aiming to empower parents with accurate, expert-backed information to support their child’s holistic development.

TASBF 3rd Conference Kali was the 1st teleconference held on 9-10th October 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

TASBF 4th Conference was held online as 2nd teleconference because of Malaysia still under mitigation of Covid 19 pandemic. It was successfully organized from 11-16 September 2021.

TASBF 5th Conference was organized on 9th - 10th September 2022 in UiTM Terengganu, Dungun Campus. There were 19 excellent speakers presented various topics on breastfeeding, maternal and children health.

Webinar Welcoming Newborn Class was held on 13th February 2021.
